Shepherds Prayer Calendar Sunday Service

Service Time & Location

Service is on Sunday morning @ 10:00am, located at 1555 E. Colorado Blvd. Pasadena, CA 91106 (across from Pasadena City College). Parking is available in the two parking lots behind the church. Entrance to both parking lots are on Marion Ave. Street parking is also available on either side of Marion Ave on Sundays.

We especially encourage worship together in the sanctuary, present to God and where we are able to fellowship freely in each other’s presence. However, if you have any symptoms of Covid-19, e.g., fever, cough, we ask that you stay home and join us via zoom, Facebook or YouTube. For communion, we will have on hand pre-packaged individual communion packs.

Sunday Morning Schedule

Our services include singing praises to God, partaking communion, a sermon message, prayer ministry, and special programs for children and youth. Our dress code is free and you are welcome to dress to the glory of God.  You may want to bring a pen and paper for taking notes during the preaching.

There are 4 main components to our Sunday services:

Worship

Adults, youth, and children worship together in the sanctuary. Families with children are encouraged to sit in the front right of the sanctuary where children can make a joyful noise unto the Lord with various instruments.

After worship, children head downstairs for

Children’s Ministry

Children and youth join their preschool, elementary or youth classes. Every other week, they also enjoy additional worship together downstairs, before their classes begin.

Communion

After worship, adults and youth are invited to partake in communion. After communion, youth are invited to Youth Group. (Please check the schedule for Youth Group)

Preaching

Each Sunday, we believe that God speaks to us through His Word, a message based on Scripture.

Ministry Time

After the sermon, we have a time of worshipful response, to reflect on how God is speaking to us and working in our lives. Those who want someone to pray for them or with them may come to the front of the sanctuary to receive prayer.

After service, various members of the Connecting Team will be available in the back of the sanctuary and narthex to meet visitors and anyone who wants to learn more about the church.
