Join us for Singularly Thriving, a special two-session seminar for singles Wednesdays, May 19th & 26th While there can sometimes be a general fallacy that the married state is normative for all, and that we are somehow incomplete unless we are not single, 1 Cor. 7 gives a different perspective. We are told that singleness is a time of singularity of purpose and focus. A time in which our powers are harnessed to such an extent that we are in Paul's words, "without carefulness". Rather than waiting to be married, or for the right person to appear, God has called us to thrive while single. This seminar is for all single people who 1) want to know how God prepares a person to be in a spousal relationship and 2) those who desire to live a live that goes beyond merely waiting to be in a spousal relationship and who want to live the called and focused life. |

Join us for our Thriving Families seminar! Saturday, April 24, 2010 In spite of the abundant resources from family therapy and relationship studies, families today suffer from an almost epidemic collapse in confidence in their ability to be in permanent relationships, raise children, relate inter-generationally, age graciously, relate to children, stay present to members of our family and be present to loved ones. Parents today struggle with the pull our frenetic world exerts over our ability to be completely present with our children. Our bodies are present, but our beings are not. This drivenness causes many daddies who love their children to wake up one day so out of touch with them that they find only resentment from the very ones they love. This seminar is based on the firm conviction that God has much better plans in mind for families. If you are interested in thriving in your family, raising thriving children , claiming God's purposes for your family and seeing God form your family life, this seminar is for you. This seminar is open to all, including those who are single. Join us for a blessed time. The book "Healing Your Internal Clock" will be available for purchase at this seminar. |

Wednesday nights in February (Feb 3, 10, 17, 24) @ 7:30 pm
It may come as a surprise to you, but God intends for you to thrive at work. Not only that, actually, our work, business, vocation and profession are the very places that God has called us to, in order for His purposes for creation to be fulfilled.
The lives of Joseph, and Daniel and his 3 friends provide models of thriving under trying conditions, amidst injustice, oppression, and a lack of natural belonging. We see from their stories, that the people of God, though clearly true to their covenant with God, could be moved into the places of politics, civil government, economics, secular learning, endless cultural complexity, even ungodliness, and rise to their destinies, and find their calling far away from the centers of spiritual life.
For those who are in transition, those who continually ask the question, "What is my call" in the midst of work, this is a seminar that just may change your life.
